# Accounts Canonical: https://unifies.ai/product/accounts **Connect what your team already runs, once.** Authorize the meeting sources and tracker you already use, then give each Space the account that belongs there Nothing to migrate, nothing to rebuild, and nothing that takes your tracker’s place Setup is two authorizations: the meetings you want captured, and the tracker your workspace was made from. Every Space also has a forwarding address it was made with. Each authorization is yours rather than the workspace’s, and a Space can be pointed at whichever of your accounts belongs there What connecting actually involves: ### Two things are there before you authorize anything *Before anything.* Every Space is made with a forwarding address, so a thread can become a receipt in the right one before any account is authorized at all. Below them sits the tracker your workspace was made from, which was connected before you arrived and is shown without a control beside it. A different tracker is a different workspace, so there is nothing to swap. ### The tools you can point at it *Adding a source.* One authorization is usually enough, and it is yours rather than the workspace’s: listed under your name, withdrawn at the provider. What is not built yet says so on the tile instead of opening a flow that cannot finish. ### One account. Choose exactly where it works *Choose a space.* A new authorization starts unused. Choose one Space to use it there, or deliberately make it the workspace default. Nothing selects every Space for you. ### Make one account the workspace default *Set the default.* Open either account, make it the default for Spaces without their own choice, or override one Space. The labels say exactly what changes. ### It tells you which one, and where *When it lapses.* Authorizations expire and people revoke them. The surface names the account that stopped working rather than reporting a general failure, and the repair is one press from the thing that broke. To connect a workspace, yes: the tracker requires an owner or admin to authorize it. If that is not you, Unifies records the request and sends it to the people who can approve it, and you can keep evaluating in the meantime ### What access does Unifies actually get? What you authorize with the provider, and nothing beside it. A capture source lets rooms be created and joined for the meetings you choose; the tracker connection reads and writes the tasks the workspace delivers. You withdraw either from the provider, and Unifies never holds a password ### Can I connect two Google accounts? Yes, and you decide where each one is used. An account is yours rather than the workspace’s, so you can hold the calendar your company issued and another one at the same time, and give a Space the one that belongs to it. Every other Space follows your workspace default. A second account here is not a second calendar in one merged list: each Space names the account it uses, and meetings for that Space are created from it ### Can I forward an email into my tracker? Every Space is made with its own forwarding address, so a thread you send there becomes a commitment filed in that Space with the message kept as its evidence. Inbound is not switched on yet. The address is reserved and stable, and the row on the page says so rather than promising delivery ### Can I change the tracker later? Not in place. A workspace is provisioned from its tracker, so a different tracker is a different workspace. That is why the surface shows the tracker locked instead of offering a swap ### What if a provider is not listed? Then it says so rather than offering a flow that cannot finish. Some tools are built but not yet available to connect, and the catalog above says so on the tile itself rather than in an answer down here. For anything else you can register interest and it goes on the list with your name against it ### Does every meeting get captured? Only the ones chosen. Connecting a calendar does not hand over the calendar. Capture joins only the meetings someone opted in, as a visible participant, and everything else is left alone ### What does it cost, and what happens when the free hours run out? Free is one person, forever: 5 capture hours a month, no card and no expiry date. When the hours run out, capture pauses and every receipt you already have stays readable.
